Top photography locations for your Barossa Wedding
The Barossa Valley is one of the most unique regions, the possibilities are endless for how you want your wedding day to look. We have spent a lot of time exploring the area over the years and have found some perfect places we want to share with you. Whether it be the magical gardens and historical buildings nestled amongst the vines that show off their range of colours throughout the seasons, there is somewhere to suit any taste and every budget.
If you can imagine 19th century buildings amongst lush gardens and vines as far as the eye can see, with plenty of spaces for you to say “I do” in a range of rooms and halls then think … Saltram Wine Estate, Le Mas, Gomersal Wines, Chateau Yaldara and Chateau Tanunda, are a must for you to explore. These venues pride themselves on their exquisite wines that have been produced for generations that match locally sourced food that you and your guests will dream about for years to come. The properties are perfect for a range of photo sessions to suit so there is no need to leave the properties if you book your ceremony or receptions here too.
If you have the time, make a stop at the Mengler Hill lookout for some fun photos on the stone wall and amongst the art installations that overlook the valley floor. The lookout is the perfect backdrop for sunset shoots especially during Spring when the vines have started budburst and the fruit trees are blossoming.
Marananga and Seppeltsfield are renowned for palm tree-lined roads and stunning vineyard views. This beautiful area is one of our favourite parts of the Barossa. The Seppeltsfield family Mausoleum is perfect for photos on the steps and an interesting historical place to enjoy while you are there. It is close to the Seppeltsfield winery, which is a breathtaking property with stunning architecture, ivy-covered walls, lush lawns and magical gardens that are also perfect for a ceremony or reception.
With a mix of native trees, beautiful gardens, rustic cottages and buildings along with a backdrop that is amazing all year round then Steven Garden Estate, Grand Cru Estate or Kingsford is a must, more properties that suit your ceremony, reception, accommodation and photography without having to leave, Again some of our favourite places to visit, these properties feel like a home away from home and offer such unique experiences for all your guests.
